Dr Nerina le Roux is a former member of the Student Chiropractic Sports Council, former Chiropractic Student Council President, and former Director of Internal Affairs for the World Congress of Chiropractic Students. She had the opportunity to collaborate with the chiropractic profession on an international level, learning about different treatments and protocols that are available.

During her studies, she attended five international conferences. One of the highlights of her career was attending the 2019 World Federation of Chiropractic Congress in Berlin where she and Dr Naomi van Veen presented on chiropractic students’ view on international regulation at the International Chiropractic Regulatory Society Forum.

Nerina graduated with her Master’s degree in Chiropractic from the University of Johannesburg . She is an active member of Paediatric Chiropractic South Africa, ChiroSport South Africa, as well as the Chiropractic Association of South Africa.

Nerina thoroughly enjoys all facets of chiropractic, including sports, paediatrics, geriatrics and family care, and finds it rewarding to be able to give back in the unique way that Chiropractic allows. The modalities available to use during consultation include manual soft tissue therapies, dry needling, cervical traction, chiropractic spinal manipulation, joint mobilization techniques, rehabilitation therapy and strapping. The chiropractic techniques applied include Diversified and Activator.

She also had the opportunity to pursue her passion for treating athletes by working at the Absa Cape Epic, the KES Waterpolo and KES Easter Rugby Festivals, the 702 Walk the Talk, as well as the 94.7 MTB Challenge and Cycle Challenge.

Nerina is goal driven and enjoys aligning goals with her patients. She strives to provide an evidence based and up-to-date approach to chiropractic treatment. Whether it be pain relief, injury prevention or performance enhancement, her treatment approach is patient dependent. Her goal is to design an innovative individual treatment plan to help each of her patients to achieve the best possible outcome.
